What good is armor if your body is broken?

“A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6:10-12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The Bible tells us to put on the whole armor of God so we can withstand the strategies of the enemy but what good is that if you’re wounded? Would you go to war with someone with a broken arm or a leg? Probably not; that’s why we need healing FIRST then cover up.

Dear Heavenly Father, I ask that you bandage my wounds today God. Wrap me up in your loving arms of comfort and surround me with your peace now God.
